It is because they are simple substance.

Apart from afore said nutrients, other nutrient such as Carbohydrates, Lipids, and protein are highly complex biomolecules which must be broken down to their respective simpler form such that the digestive tract can absorb them.

The complex to simpler form of the Biomolecules conversion is as shown:

Carbohydrates → Mono/di saccharides

Protein → Amino acids or peptides
