Sales promotion is a part of a promotional mix as it helps to generate and increase sales of the product. Public relations are a part of a promotional mix as they help to spread the information about products indirectly. However, retailing is not a part of a promotional mix as it just includes selling goods directly to customers. It has no whatsoever relationship with promotions.
