Argon and Calcium are isobars as their atomic masses are 40 (Ar- 18,22; Ca- 20,20)

Protium (H^{1} _{1} ) and Deutrium ( H^{2} _{1} ) are isotopes as they have the same number of protons i.e. 1 but different numbers of neutrons i.e 1 and 2 respectively.

Shajahan11: isobars means
Annabeth: Isobars are different elements which have the same atomic mass
Annabeth: Atomic mass is the sum of protons and neutrons
Annabeth: Ar has 18 protons and 22 neutrons, thus its atomic mass is 18+22 = 40 u. Ca has 20 protons and 20 neutrons, thus its atomic mass is 20+20 = 40 u.
