3x - 1/x = 5
(3x² - 1)/x =5
3x² - 1 = 5x
3x² - 5x -1 = 0
This is a quadratic equation because
on comparing this equation with standard quadratic equation i.e. ax² + bx + c = 0
we have a=3 , b= -5 c=-1
