The outbreak of jaundice is majorly caused due to B) Water pollution.

Jaundice is caused by the organism Seriola quinqueradiata. The disease is characterised by yellow colorations of the skin, these yellow colourations are majorly due to the build-up of bilirubin in the blood.

Bilirubin is a waste material that is created while the 'red blood cells die' after the aging process. In the case of jaundice, this rupture of red blood corpuscles is more thereby causing more bilirubin in the blood.
