Sieve tubes has a perforated cell wall.

The xylem vessels and phloem sieve tubes are connected end to end to transport water and food respectively to long distances in a plant. Their end plates are perforated to allow easy passage of substances from one vessels (in case of xylem) and sieve tubes (in case of phloem).

The cell wall which contains pores or holes to transport the nutrients to the other cells or inter cellular spaces. is called perforated cell wall.. The word perforated means a series of small holes in a biological cell.

Phloem tissue consists of two types of cells, sieve tubes and companion cells and both have perforated cell walls. The both type of cells are nutrient transporting cells.

a. Companion:- companion cells have perforated cell walls.

b. Tracheid :- this type of cells do not have perforated cell wall.

c. Sieve :- they have perforated cell wall.

d. Vessels:-  vessels are the part of xylem and they have perforated cell walls.
