It's easy to detect oxygen and carbon dioxide in surrounding air. By using a matchbox and other simple accessories like bell jar water, cork, test tubes one can easily observe the presence of these two gases. Oxygen promotes the burning of the match while carbon dioxide tries to extinguish it.

In case of moisture detection a simple thermometer can be used along with a chamber full of water which will be connected to another thermometer bulb. This method is called the wet bulb method. One can follow dew point method also to detect moisture content in air, that is also pretty easy compared to it.

But in case of detection of nitrogen, as it is almost inert in normal temperature and pressure, special complicated methods should be followed. Thus the correct option is option (D) Nitrogen.
