                       There are four fundamental forces of nature. They are Strong Nuclear, Electromagnetic, Weak Nuclear and Gravitational.

The strongest of these four is the Strong Nuclear. However, since this interaction operates at a very short range inside the nucleus, it is not the sort of force that we experience in everyday lives.

The strong Nuclear is very strong, but very short-ranged. It is responsible for holding the nuclei of atoms together. It is basically attractive but can be effectively repulsed in some circumstances.
