Which, of the following has a. Large area and by how much ? Arectangle of. Length. 24 cm breath 17 cm or square of side 21 cm

Area of rectangle= length * breadth = 24*17= 408sq cm

Area of square =
(side) ^{2}
=
 {21}^{2}  = 441
Hence area of square is more by 441-408=33sq cm

so as we know:----
area of rectangle = length×breadth
therefore
area of rectangle= 24×17
=408
now ,
area of square = (side)^2
=(21)^2
=441
so by this we get to know that the area of square is more
and
the area of square is more by :---
area of square - area of rectangle=441-408
=33
