Hello!

Here is your answer!
==========================================================

It is S-S bond

Curious to know?

-It is S-S bond  because sulphur forms stronger covalent bond than Se and Te .

-Also  S-S bond is stabilized  and less effective in Se and Te due to full filled d-orbitals.

-Also, the non bonding electron pair of O-O bonds have strong repulsion which makes it weak in comparison with S-S bond.

-So, the S-S bond has highest bond energy.

Hence the answer will be option d S-S

Hope it helps!

The answer is S-S because the bond is stabilised by dpie - ppie bonding which is absent in case of O

Also O is smaller in size due to which the lone pair lone pair repulsion is more...

Se and T are much larger in size due to which d pie - p pie bonding becomes ineffective....
