CH_{4} , C_{3} H_{8} , and C_{5} H_{12} are the  hydrocarbons will give substitution reactions

Explanation:

CH_{4} , C_{3} H_{8} , and C_{5} H_{12}   will give substitution reactions

The above given compounds are considered as saturated hydrocarbons (Alkanes) and therefore it will give substitution reactions i.e atoms can be replaced or substituted by other atom to replace the hydrogen whereas on the other hand C_{2} H_{4} and C_{3} H_{4} will give addition reactions i.e a molecule gets added to unsaturated compounds to form saturated compounds because these are unsaturated hydrocarbons (Alkene and Alkyne).
