• Primary sector involves occupations and activities using natural resources as their main raw material. For example, fishing, agriculture, forestry, etc.
• Secondary sector involves the production of goods using the materials provided by the primary sector. It mainly involves finishing the product into final goods. For example, industries, construction, manufacturing, etc.
• Tertiary sector is concerned with providing services to the consumers. Some of these services require the goods obtained from the primary and secondary sectors. For example, teaching, banking, tourism, etc.
