(B) is true about displacement because distance can not be zero but displacement can be zero and negative also and distance has no magnitude

(a) False , the displacement can be zero if the final position is same as the initial position .

(b) False , Magnitude of displacement can be either less than or equal to the distance travelled but can never be greater than the distance travelled .
