let  \: zeroes \: be \:  \alpha  \: and \:  \beta  \\  \alpha  =  - 3 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \beta  = 4 \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 3 + 4 \\  \alpha  +  \beta  = 1 \\  \alpha . \beta  =  - 3 \times 4 \\  \alpha . \beta  =  - 12 \\ p(x) =  {x}^{2}  - ( \alpha  +  \beta )x +  \alpha . \beta  \\ p(x) =  {x}^{2}  - 1x + ( - 12) \\ p(x) =  {x}^{2}  - x - 12

Hope it helps
