The structure of c. Mesosomes is equivalent to Mitochondria.


If we look into the structures of Mitochondria and Mesosome, we will find that there are similarities between mesosome of a prokaryotic cell and cristae of mitochondria.


Both of them have a same type of surface membrane but only the eukaryotic cells have membrane-bound organelles.
