Endoplasmic reticulum is not related to energy production, therefore, the option (c) must be answer.

It cannot be the site of energy generation as mitochondria are the site for energy production in the living cells.

Endoplasmic reticulum is a link of membranous tubules which is placed inside the cytoplasm of a living cell.

It is attached with ribosomes and mainly involves in lipid and protein synthesis. Endoplasmic reticulum has various domains that does different operations.
