The inner lining of the stomach contains mucus or Neck cells which secretes Mucus whereas the middle layer which is known as peptic or chief cells secrets with pepcyanogen which converts into pepsin in the presence of HCl and the outer layer Which contains parietal cells Secrete HCL and Castle intrinsic factor
