Sand+water is a suspension solution. When we add sand to water it does not dissolve in water but it settles at the bottom of the container. As the particles of the solution i.e sand exhibit the properties of particles in a suspension solution such as the size of the particles are above 1 nanometer, the particles show tyndall effect or scatter light, we categorise this solution as a suspension solution.
