living organisms have one unique quality that separates them from non living organisms and this is reproduction .reproduction is basically meant for continuity of the species ,reproduction involves fusion of the male and the female sex cells

reproduction in plants is different from that of animals ,lets have a look at the reproduction in plants ;the flower is the reproductive part of a plant .the flower has both the male and the female reproductive systems .

fertilization is the fusion of the male and the female gametes ,after fertilization the ovary has fused with the pollen grains ,the ovules  the becomes the seed while the ovary becomes the fruit
