the second one is dangerous it is advised not to kepp water in acids (stong ones) but with high precautions elders do it to show when acid is in larger amounts and water is in less amount it is dagerous as if water (see like when we throw ston in water some water comes up right) spils noting happens whereas if acid spills it may burn siverly . one more point is that when acid if given drop by drop there ar less chances of spilling and it gets diluted so no harm.
