(i) <ADB is the Angle in the Semi Circle.

(ii) Since, <ADB = 90° , ADB is Right Triangle.

By The Pythagorean Theorem,

AD² + DB² = AB²

(4)² + (5)² = AB²

AB² = 41

:. AB = 41 cm
