Volcanoes do not cause any soil erosion but the above factors like running water, glaciers and wind causes erosion also deposition.

Concept

  • The soil fragments are loosened or washed away during this process in valleys, seas, rivers, streams, or far-off areas. Due to human activities like agriculture and forestry, this has gotten worse.

Explanation

  • The process of soil eroding is ongoing and can happen slowly or rapidly. As a result, there is ongoing topsoil loss, ecological harm, soil collapse, etc.

Volcanoes :

A volcano is a crack in the crust of the Earth, another planet, or a satellite from which molten rock, hot rock pieces, and hot gases are released in eruptions. An amazing demonstration of Earth's might is a volcanic eruption.

Although magnificent to view, eruptions can result in catastrophic loss of life and property, especially in areas of the planet that are highly inhabited.

Hence volcano is not  an agent
