Quartz has more elasticity as compared to steel.

EXPLANATION:

A substance is said to be more elastic if it does not deform easily. In other words, if a substance does not lose its shape easily, it is more elastic compared to other substances.

Quartz is more elastic because when stretched, it does not deform and returns to its "original shape" and size very quickly. Quartz is available in both 'crystalline' and 'amorphous' forms and in the amorphous form, it has more elasticity.
