IRS-1A is a indigenous remote sensing satellite that was launched on March 17, 1988 from the Soviet Cosmodrome at Baikonur. It was one of the proudest moment for the entire country to launch IRS-1A because this satellite can address the various requirements for managing different natural resources of the nation.
