Human circulatory system

Explanation:

  • Blood transport both oxygen and carbon dioxide;entry of oxygen occurs in blood through lungs and carbon dioxide is expelled out of the blood into the lungs
  • Human heart has four chambers:two atria and two ventricle
  • Right atria receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle and the right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs
  • The left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle
  • Valves open in one direction and let the blood pass through and close so that blood does not flow backwards into the atria
  • Oxygen rich blood flows from lungs back into the left upper chamber of the heart through four pulmonary veins whereas oxygen deficient blood returns from the body to the heart through the superior vena cava and inferior vena cava which are the two main veins that bring blood back to the heart

(c Valves ensure that the blood does not flow backwards.

Explanation:

  • The human circulatory system is a network of systems and consists of heart, head, and circulatory system. Both the oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood flows into the heat and get mixed. The blood consists of O2 and filters out carbon.
