The organisms which do not follow cell theory are :
¤ Bacteria : prokaryotic organisms such as bacteria do not have well defined nucleus.
¤ Viruses, prions, viroids : They are akaryotic biological agents without cellular organisation i.e no membrane, no cytoplasm, and no nucleus.
¤ Acetabularia : it is a green single celled Marine alga which has differentiated body.. While cell theory do not explains single cell differentiation.
¤ Rhizopus and albugo have multinucleate coenocytic cells. Similarly ascaris have multinucleate syntitial cells while cell theory explains "uninucleate cells"
