Answer:

The aquatic organisms are disturbed more due to biomagnification.

Explanation:

Biomagnification is the amplification of hazardous substances in the ecosystem. The most affected organisms are those belonging to aquatic habitat.

The toxic substances like pesticides, insecticides, and radionuclides have become a part of our food chain. The chemicals that we spray for good crops often find their way to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Slowly it enters the food chain, including birds, animals, and human beings. According to researches, pesticides and chemicals are known to be present in human beings too in small minute amount.

The soil absorbs these chemicals and it seeps down and finds its way into the nearby water bodies. These chemicals are not just pesticides but many heavy metals like lead and mercury too often reach water bodies through rainwater.

Thus, the aquatic system has become the most polluted and organisms living in it absorb these chemicals. Lots of fish die before the normal life span, and lots of flora and fauna of aquatic habitat are losing their existence.
