Embryo (kernel) is the plant part that represents the future plant in miniature condition. It is formed by asymmetric cell divison. The embryo with other cells that originate from the mother plant then develops further into the seed which is the initial stage for the next generation. And this seed upon germination grows eventually into a new plant.
