• Amoeba is an unicellular organism which doesn't have a mouth for ingestion.
• Amoeba uses it's false feet, pseudopodia for the ingestion of food. It encircles the prey.
• When the prey is completely encircled, the food is engulfed in the form of a bag called food vacuole.
• Inside the food vacuole, the food is digested by several digestive juices.
