The sino atrial node or the (SAN) is known as the pacemaker of the human heart..located in the walls of the right auric left in the heart..
It is so called because the impulse or command for the heart beat arises in the pacemaker or SAN.. This impulse is then relayed to the ventricles of the heart with the help of special conducting fibres which continues the rhythm of the heart beat..
