1. chewing of food is done in the buccal cavity (mouth) with the help of teeth.

2. killing of bacteria is done by concentrated hydrochloric acid (HCl) and in the stomach region of alimentary canal

3. Absorption of food is done in the small intestine of alimentary canal with the help of small finger like projections called villi which helps in the increase in surface area for absorption and sends the absorbed food particle into the blood vessels.
