The bile is carried to the digestive tract by the cystic duct of gal bladder , it joins with the hepatic duct to form a common path called hepatopancreatic duct which enters into the duodenum which ir guarded by the sphincter of oddi.
The release of bile (salts) from the gal bladder is by the influence of the intestinal harmone cholecystokinin .
