The Vena Cava carries blood back from the kidneys so the right atria receives blood cleaned up by the kidneys but it is also deoxygenated blood about to go to the lungs so it is “cleaned up blood “ by the kidneys but your professor may want the PULMONARY VEINS because it will be cleaned up and oxygenated (left atria).

It’s all how your teacher is using the word “Pure”. You can tell him that I said all blood is pure because white cells are hungry and eat anything that is not supposed to be there.
