Sheep has fibres called wool in the form of fleece as the human have hairs on their body. The fleece is shearer off from sheep's body and is processed to get wool

1. In the hairy skin of sheep called fleece yield's fibre.

2. The 2 types of fibres that form the fleece of a sheep are coarse beard hair and fine soft under-hair close to the skin.

Both the fibres are used to make wool.

3. Some breeds of sheeps possess only fine under-hair. So, their parents are selected to give birth  to sheep who have only soft under-hair. This process of selecting parents for obtaining such special characters in their offspring are known as selective breeding.
