Media oftenly ignored the activities of opposition parties and criticized them.
Sometimes the PRI shifted the polling booth at the 11th hour, this made difficult for people to cast their vote.
All the Teachers were forced to influence the parents to vote PRI.
It was important for the Govt. officials to attend the party meeting.
PRI harassed the opposition parties which led to insatiability.
Hence, Mexico couldn't be considered a democracy until 2000.
