Recently, in the start of December, elections were held in 5 States of India. They were :-

Rajasthan
Madhya Pradesh
Chhatisgarh
Telangana
Mizoram


In Telangana :-


Party of K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) (TRS) won the election.


TRS :- Telangana Rashtriya Samiti.


=> TRS was formed in 2014. Telangana was formed by the revolt done by TRS. KCR was a member of TDP (Telugu Desam Party) but he revolted against Chandrababu Naidu and created his own party (TRS).

TRS won 90+ seats and showed a significant majority.



Other results :-



Rajasthan :- Congress got 99 seats (majority 100) and allied with BSP,SP and some independent candidate and got a total of 116 seats. Congress formed the government and Ashok Gahlot was given the post of CM


Madhya Pradesh :- Congress got 114 (majority 116) and allied with other candidates and got 120+ seats and formed the government. Kamalnath was made the CM.


Chhatisgarh :- Congress showed an incredible majority of 68 seats out of 90 and created a historic moment. Before this, no party has got 60+ seats in Chhatisgarh Assembly Election.


Mizoram :- Congress lost. Local party Mizo National Front made the government.
