Mars would be the planet as humans have begin there research and are trying to reach mars in a human spacecraft. This shows their intentions that they are trying to reach mars.
Also due to most least affecting climate for humans is present on mars after the earth and less distance from earth in respect to other planets thus I think it would be the easiest for humans to colonize.
