Maximillian Robespierre ;6 May 1758 – 28 July 1794) was a French lawyer and politician, as well as one of the best known and most influential figures associated with the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror.
In 1788 Robespierre took part in a discussion of how the French provincial government should be elected, arguing in his Addressee à la nation artesian ... to counter the influence of the royal court in public policy; to defend Robespierre from the accusations of Grandest leaders; and to give voice to the economic interests of the broader masses in Paris and beyond.
