In Earth Surface, Tropics denote the region between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.

Equatorial low pressure belt (0 degree) is present around the Equator.

Subtropical high pressure belts (30 degree) are present around the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.

Also, North East Trade winds and South East Trade winds prevail around the tropics which propel out from Subtropical high pressure zone.
