Binary fission is the cell division procedure, happens in the bacteria.

The process of mitosis is very similar to the binary fission.

Mitosis happens mainly in human bodies and in some eukaryotic organisms.

In both process the parent cell divides into two new cells.

And also the chromosomes are separated in both of this process.

That's why the mitosis is very similar to the binary fission.
