High compressibility is the property that is possessed by oxygen is used in hospitals to supply oxygen in the form of cylinders.
Oxygen is a ‘colourless’, ‘tasteless’, and ‘an odourless’ gas. Its high compressibility property is used in holding the gas in the form of cylinders or liquefying the gas.
This gas is liquefied and stored in cylinders which is later evaporated and received in the form of gas. The pressure at which it is maintained is almost ‘345-380 kPa’ (50-55 psi).
