1x²+3x+1=0

There is Coffcient of x²=1

So, we have to Multiply -1/2 to Coffcient of x and have to square it...

( \frac{ - 1}{2} \times coffcient \: of \: x)^{2}

 ( \frac{ - 1}{2} \times 3)^{2}

( \frac{ - 3}{2} )^{2}

 \frac{9}{4}
