Which raw material is reaponsible for the release of molecular oxygen in photosynthesis?
batradivjyot25:
✴Water is the raw material that is responsible for the release of molecular oxygen during photosynthesis. Hope it helped.. I didn't answered it cuz it will be then too short answer... Thx :)

Hey Dear...
Here is Your Answer :D
_____________________________________________________
=> During the photosynthesis process plants absorb the water and carbon dioxide and start releasing oxygen.
=> The source of release of O2 in the process of photosynthesis is water.
=> Water breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen electrons i.e. H2O split into H2 and O2 during the cyclic process in the p presence of oxygen evolving complex, situated adjacent to PS2.

Hope it Helps You Out :D

Heya friend !!
We know that plants use CO2, H2O and sunlight during photosynthesis and oxygen is released into the atmosphere as a byproduct.
Coming to your question, water is the raw material which is responsible for release of molecular oxygen during photosynthesis.
H2O decomposes into H2 and O2 ions . Thus molecular oxygen is released due to its dissociation .
Hope that helps !
