Answer:

Lake test of Al3+ ion is based on adsorption of blue litmus on solid surface of Al(OH)3. The dye aluminon is adsorbed by the gelatinous Al(OH)3 precipitate to form lake coloured solution. This test is used as a confirmatory test for Al3+ after precipitation of Al(OH)3 with aqueous ammonia. Basic radical are divided into six analytical groups, and each group has its reagent which is called group reagent, The group reagent reacts with the salt solution to give an insoluble salts precipitated, Identification of the basic radicals depends upon the properties of the precipitate, The basic radicals of the salt.
