The answer is \huge\mathcal{TETHYS\:\:sea:-}

↪Tethys Sea existed at the place of the present Himalayas.

↪ But as the Tibetan , Eurasian and the Indo-Australian plates came together and collided , a huge crack was formed on the sea floor .

↪This crack eventually rose up to gradation and is the Mighty Himalayan mountains today standing and guarding the India's northern frontier from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh .
