Dry seed grows fast

  • It  is a perennial plant and grow as tall as 30 feet (9m), and most have attractive yellow-, orange- or cream-colored flowers
  • After 7 weeks  roll , the seeds around to remove the dried husks of the seed coverings, then store them in a cool and  dry place. To sprout seeds of the  papaya, place it in seedling has to be starting soil and keep moist and warm. Seeds sprout quickly, and the plants will begin rapid growth.
  • Papayas need plenty of water to grow tasty fruit, but the plants do not tolerate wet feet.
  • The dried ones sprouted first after 2 days (+1 day of drying) and the non-dried ones took 7 days to start to sprout. I would say it is just time convenience. In nature it doesn't really matter that they dry but that the fruit is completely rotten. While the seed is surrounded by fruit flesh it will not sprout.
