Answer:

Lyman series of hydrogen atom lies in ultraviolet region, Balmer series lies in visible region while found and paschen series lie in infrared region.

It does lie in the Bracket series.

Explanation:

In physics and chemistry, the Lyman series describes the transitions and ultraviolet emission lines of the hydrogen atom when an electron moves from the lowest energy level of n = 1 to n = 2 (where n is the primary quantum number).

Greek letters are used to identify the transitions in order: Lyman-alpha, which occurs from n = 2 to n = 1, Lyman-beta, which occurs from n = 3, Lyman-gamma, which occurs from n = 4, and so on. Theodore Lyman, the series' discoverer, is honoured with a name for it. The energy of the electromagnetic emission increases with the size of the primary quantum number difference.
