Global Forum 2020 was a great success! While we missed some of our colleagues due to the coronavirus situation, we still had fantastic participation. Our final numbers were: 883 attendees from 89 countries, 120 speakers in 66 sessions and 37 Market Place Expo participants.

- In Belgium's capital Brussels there were ethnic issues where it was debated as to which region would be Brussels included. Either in the Dutch speaking region or French Speaking region. However, Brussels enjoys a special status wherein it has own govt system with elaborate power sharing system and is officially bilingual. This way Belgium holds a special status in the global forum
