Conducting system of heart contains two most imp nodes -
1) Sinoatrial node -
- It is located in superolateral wall of right atrium
- It gives rise to impulses which initiate heart contractions. Hence, SA node is called pacemaker of heart.
2) Atrioventricular node -
- It is located in posterior septal wall of right atrium
- It gives passes impulses go vebtricles and starts heart contractions. Hence, AV node is called pacesetter of heart.
