From my side maths is better then science because Math is easier because there's one solution, there might be multiple ways of getting to that solution but there's always one. When it comes to science, there's a lot more complexity involved and in some cases no definitive answers which is why I think it's more complex, not so much harder to learn or understand.

Math deals with perfection. Science is the study of imperfections.
Math deals with truth. Science deals with models.
A mathematical proof absolutely convinces. A scientific model needs to continuously evolve.
Math can be pursued purely for its own sake. Science needs empirical observation of the external world.
Mathematics is about purity. Science is about practicality.
For scientists, mathematics is a tool.
For mathematicians, mathematics is a way of life and an appeal to their innermost convictions.
I enjoy the exact and precise nature of mathematics. But my outlook is more scientific, and has mostly to do with my training.
